Tiger Turf is one of the highest quality artificial turf products available today. It’s rugged, and is made to take every day wear and tear. But if someone accidentally drives farming equipment across it with blades down, or you set your barbeque on top of your turf (NOT RECOMMENDED!) and some hot coals pop out and melt your turf, it will not be necessary to replace the entire backyard turf.
We are able cut the damaged piece out and seam a new section in. This is one reason why it is so important to hire an artificial grass installer with some longevity, as well as purchasing a product from a top manufacturer who will be around longer than their warranty.
Many substandard turf installers use imported turf that is private labeled with the installer’s name, and you never know where it really comes from.
Heck, even the installer doesn’t know where it’s from. They only know it helps them undercut the price of quality artificial turf contractors.

This month, an import turf manufacturer might be making artificial; grass, and next month the same factory might be making crocs or baby bottles, so matching your turf will be next to impossible.
Research your artificial turf installation company. Make sure they’ve been doing quality work for years and have a proven track record. Ask for the product data sheets on your turf. We provide them for free when we install your artificial grass!
We do keep samples of other manufacturers turf on hand so if you have damaged turf, we can try to match your damaged turf as best possible. We don’t install those same turf products otherwise – the product quality is usually not acceptable to us.
If the damage is too great and the matching product is not available, we might recommend replacing the entire piece of turf. Many times, we can reuse the underlying base.
If pet turf needs to be replaced, we will usually replace the topmost layer of base to help alleviate the odors. It all depends on the damage and area.
Redesigning the area might be a good idea if the damage is too severe.
The best idea is to install a domestic quality artificial turf product from a reputable installer when you first decide on artificial grass. It will save you headaches down the road.
